Bray Deavours

As a competitive wrestler in high school Bray has always had a passion for the grappling arts. After completing his bachelor’s degree at James Madison and his Master’s in Business at UGA, Bray was looking to continue his passion of competing and training in the grappling arts.

In May of 2003 Bray found Creighton MMA Academy and was one of Paul’s first students and since then has earned the rank of 3rd degree Black Belt. Bray loves to compete and is a Silver Medalist in the no-gi Masters/Seniors Pan American Games, and Casca Grossa and NAGA champion. It is hard to find an individual that is both a great competitor and instructor, but Bray is blessed to have both of these attributes.

Bray moved to Anderson SC in 2021 and found Renzo Gracie South Carolina which he now calls his new BJJ home.
